Shawn Rivers, a beloved resident of Rochester, NY, passed away peacefully at his home on June 12, 2024. Born and raised in Rochester, Shawn was known for his kind heart and infectious laughter that brightened the lives of all who knew him. He was a devoted husband to his wife of 40 years, Emily, and a loving father to their two children, Sarah and Michael.
Shawn was a dedicated employee at Rochester Engineering for over thirty years. His expertise and work ethic earned him the respect of colleagues and clients alike. Outside of work, he was an avid golfer and a passionate Rochester Red Wings baseball team supporter.
Shawn’s warm personality and willingness to help others endeared him to many. His memory will be forever cherished by his family, friends, and all who were fortunate to have crossed paths with him. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association in his honor.
