Sherry Richie Obituary, – Based on a report from WMBB in Panama City, Florida, a tragic incident involving a vehicle accident has resulted in the passing of a woman from New Iberia. The Panama City Beach Police Department responded to a medical emergency near Hidden Lagoon Golf and Racetrack on Thursday.
Upon arrival, law enforcement found a 49-year-old female, identified as Sherry Richie from New Iberia, Louisiana, lying on Front Beach Road in the westbound lanes with severe head injuries. It was reported that Richie had apparently fallen from a moving vehicle and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Authorities have confirmed that the driver of the Jeep was not under the influence of any substances, and there is currently no evidence to suggest that their operation of the vehicle contributed to the incident. The Traffic Homicide Investigation Team of the department is actively investigating this tragic event.
