Chase Clark, 32, of Springfield, Illinois, passed away unexpectedly on June 9, 2024. Born on March 12, 1992, Chase was the beloved son of Michael and Lisa Clark. He graduated from Springfield High School in 2010 and earned a degree in Business Administration from the University of Illinois in 2014.
Chase was a financial analyst at a local firm, where he was respected for his dedication and professionalism. Outside of work, he was an avid sports enthusiast, enjoyed fishing trips, and passionately supported the Chicago Bears and Cubs. His friends and family remember him for his infectious smile, kind heart, and unwavering loyalty.
Chase is survived by his parents, Michael and Lisa; his sister, Emily Clark; his grandmother, Margaret Thompson; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. His grandparents, Robert and Helen Clark, and his uncle, David Clark, preceded him in death.
A celebration of Chase’s life will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 10 a.m. at the Springfield Memorial Chapel, with a visitation preceding the service from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Instead of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association in Chase’s memory.
