An urgent search is underway for a wanted fugitive, according to the Medina County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies have identified the man as Moses Flores and is wanted on an active arrest warrant.
The Sheriff’s Office says he ran from the Adult Probation Services Building in Hondo then hid from deputies in a park just up to the road.
Officials say after an extensive search they believe the suspect was picked up at a park and taken somewhere else.
On Wednesday Flores was was at the Adult Probation Building when he escaped and officials heard he ran into the Hondo Nature Trail off Castro Avenue and FM 462. After searching the area with Hondo Police he was not found and they cleared the scene.
Flores was last seen wearing a brown shirt, blue jeans, and flip flops. Officials say if anyone has information on his whereabouts to call their number at 830-741-6153.
