Antwan James Edwards Obituary, – The body discovered on Saturday afternoon in Sherbondy Hill has been identified by the Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office as Antwan James Edwards, a 20-year-old resident of Akron.
Edwards was found by Akron police at approximately 3:25 p.m. near the intersection of Raymond and Bartges streets, suffering from a gunshot wound to his back. Tragically, he was declared deceased at the location. According to witnesses, several male individuals were seen fleeing the area after the shooting took place. Law enforcement officers collected shell casings and additional evidence as part of their initial inquiry. The investigation into this incident remains ongoing.
