Jose Luis Rincon Lopez Death – Jose Luis Rincon Lopez has been identified as the man who was shot and killed by a deputy from the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office. The incident occurred when Deputy Jonathan Lee, 32, was leaving UNC Health Johnston County on Monday, June 10.
As Lee was attempting to leave the parking lot, Lopez approached him and attempted to seize his gun. Following a struggle, Lee managed to regain control of his weapon and fired at Lopez. The N.C. State Bureau of Investigation is currently conducting an ongoing investigation, and no further details are currently available.
