Shawn A. Smith Death – Law enforcement officers fatally shot an armed individual in Mifflin County, as reported by the Pennsylvania State Police. Authorities stated that the police received a call on Monday night regarding a man who was shooting multiple rounds in the 100 block of West Fourth Street in Lewistown.
According to a press release from the state police, “The armed suspect engaged with the officers who responded to the scene. The suspect was shot at and later died from his injuries.”
The deceased individual was identified as Ridge Rhodes, 29 years old, by the coroner’s office.
Fortunately, no officers sustained any injuries during the incident.
