Bernadette Marie Tremper Death – According to officials, a tragic incident occurred in Kershaw County on Sunday, resulting in the death of a pedestrian. The victim, identified as 63-year-old Bernadette Marie Tremper from Camden, was struck by a vehicle while walking on Highway 1 at approximately 9:16 p.m.
Tremper was walking in the wrong direction, heading south towards Camden in the northbound lane, when the collision occurred. Sadly, she was pronounced dead at the scene by Kershaw County Coroner David West. The authorities are currently conducting an investigation into the accident.
