Mike Adams Jr Death – A shooting incident near 16th Street in Phenix City has resulted in the death of one man and the injury of another. The Phenix City Police Department Patrol Division promptly responded to the incident on June 9 at approximately 8:40 p.m.
The officers discovered the lifeless body of 26-year-old Mike Adams Jr., who had succumbed to a gunshot wound. The Criminal Investigations Division immediately initiated an investigation into the matter. As the investigation progressed, another victim, 26-year-old Japaris Vaughn, was found with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
Vaughn was swiftly transported to Piedmont Columbus Regional Hospital for medical treatment. A warrant has been issued for a 17-year-old juvenile from Phenix City on charges of capital murder. It is important to note that this investigation is still ongoing.
