Vallera Cole Albany, GA – Vallera Cole was a devoted and compassionate grandmother and mother (“Nunny”) who was always ready to provide a hand to loved ones. She belonged to the Catholic church of St. Teresa. Following her graduation from New Castle High School, Mrs. Cole went to secretarial school and worked as a waitress. She worked for Western Union after she and her husband Dick moved to Maryland so that she could support him while he went to school. When they relocated to Georgia, she switched her job to Albany. After they adopted their kids, Val quit his job.
Up until around ten years ago, Mrs. Cole enjoyed swimming laps at Tony’s Gym and the YMCA. She had started to swim as a teenager. When she was younger, she also participated in business softball and volleyball teams. After she retired, she took pleasure in participating in a mixed league with her spouse in the evening and a ladies league in the morning. She loved taking work and pleasure trips across the world with her spouse and family, and her favorite destination was the beach. They made every effort to visit the shore. She loved shopping, decorating her house, and hosting family and friends. Every week, Mrs. Cole would read a minimum of one book due to her passion for reading.
