On Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at home, Christian Isaiah Crook, 23, of Madisonville, Kentucky, departed from this life. Christian Crook was the cherished son of Cameron Crook and Shawna Nunn Wharton. He was born on June 28, 2000, in Henderson, Kentucky. His uncle Vincent Crook and grandma Sharon Givins both passed away before him. Christian was an enthusiastic person who enjoyed playing video games and was a huge fan of the New England Patriots football team, the Los Angeles Lakers, and Duke basketball.
He watched AMP on YouTube for hours on end and relished the rush of rides at amusement parks. Christian also loved working on the family food truck with his dad. He cherished his time with friends and family beyond all else. Along with his four brothers, Carter Ervin of Lexington, KY, Canaan Nunn of Madisonville, Keylin Crook of Madisonville, and Preston Pendergraff of Nortonville, KY, Christian is survived by his parents, Cameron Crook and Shawna Wharton; his stepmother, Tiffany Crook of Madisonville; his girlfriend of eleven years.
Ariel Willett of Newburgh, IN; his grandmother, Vanessa Crook of Providence, KY; and his grandfather, Woodrow “Bubba” Nunn of Henderson, KY. On Sunday, June 9, 2024, at 2:00 PM, funeral services will take place at Madisonville’s Barnett-Strother Funeral Home. Then there will be a burial at Providence, Kentucky’s Cumberland Hill Cemetery. The funeral home will be open for visitation on Sunday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the ceremony. Everyone who knew and loved Christian will miss him terribly.
