Hector Garnica Jr Death – The Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a fatal crash on I-55 in Lincoln County on the morning of Thursday, June 6, at around 8:14 a.m. Hector Garnica Jr., a 56-year-old from Brownsville, TX, was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Express Van north on I-55 when it crashed into a concrete bridge barrier due to the detachment of the rear left wheel.
Sadly, a passenger named Alfonso E. Muraira, 51 years old from Matamoros, Mexico, lost his life in the accident. The Mississippi Highway Patrol is currently investigating this tragic incident.
