Wilma Louise Townsend Obituary, Death;  – Wilma Louise Townsend, aged 97, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, in Winter Haven. Born on October 5, 1926, Wilma was the daughter of Joe and Alice Wiggins. She dedicated over 35 years of her life working at Winter Haven Hospital, where her kindness and skills impacted the lives of many. Wilma was a devoted member of Spirit Lake Community Church. She is survived by her daughters, Peggy French and Vicki Wood (Robert), her son Bobby Townsend (Diana), 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, 7 siblings, and her son, Michael Townsend.
