Born in Louisville, Kentucky on March 8, 2002, Emma was the cherished daughter of Barry and Candace Grubb Spurlock.
Emma had just received her honors degree from Eastern Kentucky University and was an active member of the Southland Christian Church in Richmond. Her membership on the Madison County GOP board and her participation in the College of Young Republicans demonstrated her dedication to her community and political goals. Emma committed her professional life to animal care, working as a triage technician at Advance Animal Care in Richmond and at Pet Smart.
