Dakota O’ Neal Wilson Death – A man from Anderson County, South Carolina, tragically lost his life in a crash that occurred in front of his residence, as reported by the Anderson County Coroner’s Office. The incident took place on Tuesday at approximately 8:45 p.m. on Murphy Road at K and M Court in Belton, according to Coroner Greg Shore.
The victim has been identified as Dakota O’Neal Wilson, a 32-year-old resident of Belton. Shore revealed that Wilson was riding a motorcycle in front of his home when he lost control, colliding with a culvert. This collision caused him to strike a tree and be thrown from the motorcycle.
Regrettably, Wilson was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident and succumbed to multiple blunt force injuries at the scene. Shore mentioned that excessive speed may have played a role in the crash.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is currently conducting an investigation into the incident.
Shore emphasized that this marks the sixth fatality resulting from a motorcycle crash this year. He urged both riders and drivers to exercise caution on the roads, reminding them that “summer has yet to begin.”
