Mohamed Elromi Death:24yr killed In Fatal South Farmingdale Hit And Run Crash: NY’S SOUTH FARMINGDALE – According to Nassau police, a man was detained on Tuesday in relation to a hit-and-run that resulted in death in South Farmingdale during the winter. Wantaghm resident Christopher Rosselli, 24, was accused of one count of fleeing the scene of an event that resulted in a fatality. Wednesday was set aside for his arraignment in Hempstead’s First District Court.
According to police, at 3:40 a.m. on January 28, they received a call at 116 Merritts Road reporting that a person had been struck. Mohamed Elromi, 24, of Astoria was discovered laying in the road with a serious head injury, according to the police.
Christopher Rosselli, 24, of Wantagh, was arrested Tuesday in connection with a fatal South Farmingdale hit-and-run that killed Mohamed Elromi, 24, of Astoria, on Jan. 28, Nassau police said. Before police could arrive, a short-bed silver/gray pickup truck struck Elromi and drove away, according to the police. Elromi was declared deceased at a nearby medical facility.
