Clear Lake Woman’s Body Found In Alligator’s Mouth- Police Say: Texas’s Clear Lake (KTRK) — According to individuals who spoke with ABC13, a woman’s body was discovered in an alligator’s mouth near Clear Lake on Tuesday morning. Near El Dorado and Park Estates, on the banks of Horsepen Bayou, Houston police responded.
The female victim was reported missing overnight, according to sources. Officers put the alligator to death. Spokesman Maggie Berger for Texas Parks and Wildlife’s Law Enforcement Division said in a statement to ABC13, “On May 28, Texas Game Wardens assisted the Houston Police Department (HPD) in locating human remains that were discovered next to an alligator.
It is unknown what caused the woman to die. The HPD is currently investigating the incident and will be the lead agency moving forward. Our thoughts are with the woman’s family during this time.” How the woman died will be determined by an autopsy. Homicide detectives from the HPD have been assigned this investigation.
“That’s where they reside. Eight- and ten-foot newborns are shown. After fishing the bayou Tuesday night, Angela Derous remarked, “I know which banks to avoid and where they like to lay in the sun.” “I’ve never heard of something like that occurring down here before. It’s a little unsettling.
In Texas, fatal alligator attacks are extremely uncommon. 2015 saw the last one in Orange. In Adams Bayou, a 28-year-old guy drowned while swimming. After almost ninety years, it was the first deadly attack.
