Death; Scott Alan Former Fuel EMCEE And Bison VP of Operations, PA Announcer, Has Passed Away: We wish to convey with heavy hearts the sad news of our friend and colleague Scott Alan’s demise. We’ve all been shocked and saddened by Scott’s abrupt departure on Monday following an automobile accident. He was a pillar of the Fuel family from the start, lending his voice and presence to each of the ten seasons. As the first person hired by the Bloomington Bison, Scott was excited about his new position.
We shall really miss Scott’s boundless energy, flamboyant demeanor, and steadfast support of our teams. His devotion to the Fuel and Bison communities, as well as his love for his work, were unmatched. Scott had a special capacity to uplift people around him, and his spirit will surely never stop encouraging us from above. As we move through this trying time, we’ll be sure to update everyone on his burial or memorial service plans as soon as we have information from his family. We should take this opportunity to be grateful for all that Scott has done for each of us during this time of sadness.
For many of us, Scott Alan was a true friend as well as a colleague, and his legacy will always be felt in our community. He was more than just a work colleague; he was a mentor, a confidant, and an inspiration. Let’s unite to pay tribute to and treasure the legacy he leaves behind. A wider group of hockey fans, including the Chicago Blackhawks and the Rockford IceHogs, who just agreed to an ECHL affiliation with Indy Fuel, have also been effected by Scott’s passing. Scott was ecstatic about our partnership since it will serve as a constant reminder of his impact and legacy on our organization.
