Devon Fleenor Obituary : Athletic Trainer Tabb High School New York VA Passed Away: We are saddened by the news of Devon Fleenor, the athletic trainer at Tabb High School, dying away tonight. She became a member of our football family and our own Michelle Priest’s family. She helped Michelle care for our squad and other PHS sports teams on several occasions. We would like to thank Devon from the bottom of our hearts for all that she did for our pupils and the students at THS. We would also want to send our sympathies to her family, friends, and the whole Tabb community. We’re all Tigers tonight.
In August 2015, Devon Fleenor became a probationary member of WCLSC. In April 2016, she was elected as a full senior member. She took a leave of absence in April 2018 to work as an athletic trainer on Virginia’s east coast. Devon worked as an EMT in her town for two years, responding to several emergencies and promoting the organization at numerous events. On May 27, 24, she lost her battle with a medical issue and its repercussions. Please remember the WCLSC members and Devon’s family in your prayers and thoughts during these next trying days and weeks.
We at Tabb Football are incredibly grieved by the loss of Devon Fleenor, our athletic trainer. Devon was incredibly committed to Tabb High School and, most significantly, to every one of our student-athletes. She will be sadly missed for her influence and passion for our football team.
