Charles M Boggs Obituary ;Resident Of Norfolk, Virginia Passed away: On May 25, 2024, Charles Michael “Mike” Boggs, 56, of Norfolk, Virginia, departed quietly following a valiant fight against a protracted illness.
Mike was born on March 12, 1968, in Summersville, West Virginia. He graduated with honors from Richwood High School in 1986. Mike spent most of his career as a mechanic working on cars because it was his passion. He most recently worked at Capital Concrete in Norfolk, Virginia. He was amiable and never encountered a stranger. Visiting the beach and watching NASCAR were two of his favorite past times. His aunt Gail Peters, uncles Richard “Dick” Biggs and Elmer “JuJu” Boggs, Jr., and grandparents Elmer and Ruth Boggs and Estle and Irene O’Dell all passed away before him.
Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Charlie, and Carolyn Boggs, of Craigsville; his son, Eric Boggs, of Roanoke, VA; wife, Torra Jacobs, Norfolk, VA; aunts and uncles, Jim (Rondell) O’Dell, of Nettie, Lowell (Isora) O’Dell of White Sulphur Springs, Hilda Smith, of Nettie; countless other family and friends. He shared a special bond with cousins, Johnny (Shannon) O’Dell and Buffy (Robert) Myers.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at 2:00pm, at O’Dell Groves Cemetery, O’Delltown Road, Nettie, WV, with Pastors Ricky Bragg and Mike Simms officiating
