Police in Hartford are investigating a nonfatal shooting on Enfield Street on Tuesday.
Officers were dispatched to Saint Francis Hospital around 4:16 p.m. on Tuesday on a report of a gunshot victim being dropped off, according to Lt. Aaron Boisvert of the Hartford Police Department.
Boisvert said the gunshot victim, a man in his 30s, was alert and conscious when he arrived at the hospital.
During the investigation, police determined that the incident occurred in the area of 100 block of Enfield Street, according to Boisvert.
The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions responded to the scene to conduct the ongoing investigation.
