At approximately 1:27 p.m. on Wednesday, law enforcement officers responded to a distress call reporting a shooting incident occurring within the 1600 block of Edwards Avenue. Upon arrival at the scene, officers were guided by a relative of the victim to the location where Tyshawn White was discovered incapacitated and unresponsive within the confines of the residence, having sustained a gunshot injury.
