Jason Johnson Jr Death – The victim found shot dead inside a home in the city’s Southside has been identified by Richmond Police detectives as an 18-year-old man named Tyshawn White. The incident occurred on Wednesday, May 22 on Edwards Avenue.
Police were called to the scene at around 1:27 p.m. following a report of a person shot. Upon arrival, officers were directed to White, who was found unresponsive with a gunshot wound inside the residence. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives are currently reviewing surveillance footage from the northern area of the Oak Grove neighborhood and urge anyone with information or video evidence to contact Major Crimes Detective G. Sullivan at 804-646-3929.
