College baseball will return to Dunkin’ Park this year, with three games featuring four state schools in the spring.

The college series will begin with Eastern Connecticut State taking on Plymouth State on Saturday, March 28 at noon. It will be the first baseball game of the season played at Dunkin’ Park and will serve as a full ballpark reopening, with on-field promotions, games, and concession stands open for fans.

The other two games include UConn hosting Rhode Island at 6 p.m. on April 21, and the University of Hartford facing Western Connecticut State at 10:30 a.m. on April 24.

This will be the ninth season that college baseball will be played at Dunkin’ Park, which was named the Newsweek Fans’ Choice Award winner for Best Double-A Ballpark last year.

The Yard Goats’ home will also host a Futures Collegiate Baseball League game on July 15, with the Westfield (Mass.) Starfires taking on the Vermont Lake Monsters at 11 a.m.

Tickets are  available to purchase on the Yard Goats website.
