Jacob S. Werner Obituary – A man who lost his life in a single-vehicle accident on Monday evening in Hartford, Illinois has been identified by the Madison County Coroner’s Office. The tragic incident occurred shortly before 7 p.m. on Route 3 at Rand Avenue.
Upon arrival, Hartford police discovered the deceased front-seat passenger. The individual has been identified as Jacob S. Werner, a 24-year-old resident of Bethalto.
To determine the exact cause of death, an autopsy has been scheduled. The final results will be disclosed once the routine drug and alcohol toxicology tests have been concluded.
As of now, the crash itself is still being investigated.
