Police Seeks Suspect Accused Of Throwing Rock At car, Killing Woman- Brittany Ferguson: North Carolina authorities are looking for a person who they believe hurled a rock at a car, killing a 23-year-old woman. Witnesses reported seeing a white Chevrolet pickup truck with a person riding in the truck bed drive back and forth in the vicinity of the event.
Last Wednesday night, Brittany Ferguson, 23, was driving in Burke County, North Carolina, which is located just northwest of Charlotte, when all of a sudden, a boulder blasted into her windshield, shattering the glass and hitting her in the head. Ferguson’s car lost control on the road and struck a neighboring home. According to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, she was declared deceased at the site.
“This was not just someone driving irresponsibly; it was a crime,” the homeowner Ferguson’s car struck. It is recommended that anybody with information call the authorities at 828-466-5500.
“She was a loving daughter, sister, and aunt who loved spending time with her family,” said Ferguson’s obituary. She loved going camping as well
