Brandon Grant, Jamie Van De Car Death – The identities of the two individuals who lost their lives in a collision between a motorcycle and a car on Friday night in Manchester have been established. Brandon Grant, aged 34, and Jamie Van De Car, aged 38, both residents of Dunbarton, were the motorcycle operator and passenger, respectively.
Tragically, Van De Car was pronounced dead at the scene, while Grant was transported to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries, as stated in a news release.
According to authorities, the incident occurred when a 43-year-old man from Manchester, driving a 2021 Honda Accord, was heading south on Elm Street and executed a U-turn at 1205 Elm St. During the turn, the car collided with a motorcycle traveling north on Elm Street. The collision transpired at approximately 8 p.m.
The driver of the car, whose identity has not yet been disclosed by the police, emerged from the incident without any injuries.
