Jalisa Lockett,Amaya Lockett Obituary – The Dallas Police Department has apprehended a suspect in connection with a shooting incident that resulted in the deaths of two women and the injury of a man at an apartment complex. The tragic event occurred at the Broadstone Paragon apartments on N. Washington Avenue, near Lemmon Avenue, in Old East Dallas around 3 a.m.
The victims, Jalisa Lockett, 22, and Amaya Lockett, 24, lost their lives in the shooting, while the injured man was promptly taken to the hospital and is currently in stable condition. Saadiq Shabazz, aged 25, has been formally charged with capital murder. Authorities have refrained from disclosing any further information regarding the circumstances of the shooting, including whether Shabazz had any prior acquaintance with the victims. The Dallas Police Department is actively investigating the incident.
