Darrius Bergeron Death – The Metro Nashville Police are currently in pursuit of a suspect following a fatal shooting that occurred south of downtown. At approximately 1 a.m. on Friday, officers were dispatched to the intersection of Hart and Lewis Streets. According to a statement from the department, a witness reported seeing the victim, identified as 29-year-old Darrius Bergeron, approach the passenger side of a white SUV moments before gunshots were heard.
The SUV quickly fled the scene in the direction of Trimble Street. Tragically, Bergeron succumbed to his injuries at the location. The police urge anyone with any information regarding the incident to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.
