Legacy Lopez Death – Officials have confirmed that the individual who lost their life in a shooting incident on Phoenix Street in Springfield last April was Railyn Paredes Paulino, a 20-year-old resident of the city.
Police were alerted to the sound of gunshots in the vicinity of Phoenix Street in Springfield at approximately 1:20 p.m. on April 12, as reported by Gulluni’s office. Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered that Paulino had sustained gunshot wounds. Paulino was rushed to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, where he succumbed to his injuries.
A 14-year-old boy, identified as Legacy Lopez on Friday, is facing adult charges and has been accused of murder in relation to the shooting, according to a statement from Hampden County District Attorney Anthony Gulluni’s office.
