Beloved Cellist, Octavia Reese has passed away suddenly. She was announced dead in a social media post by Serendipity Yoga and Wellness on May 16, 2024. She died leaving many hearts scarred after learning of her sudden death. Without any doubt, she will always be missed by all those who knew her during the course of her life. Since the news of her death surfaced, many have not hesitated to share their heartfelt condolences with the family of Octavia Reese.

The only way I know how to describe Octavia is to call her a prism. Maybe this is because she reminded me of the Hindu goddess Akhilandeshvari. “She Who Is Never Not Broken”, who is sometimes described like a spinning, multi-faceted prism. Throughout her life and profession, she left a significant mark on a great number of individuals whose lives she touched. Her ferocity, audacity, and infectious energy came from her. She was intelligent, odd, and extraordinary in addition to being talented. She had a wide range of talents, including being an outstanding scholar, a writer, an author who had been published, a musician, a dancer, and an artist. Her many roles were those of a mother, a friend, and a guide, amongst a great many more.
