Following a stabbing that occurred on Tuesday evening, a lady who is 32 years old has been taken into custody and charged with second-degree murder. On Tuesday evening, just before 9 o’clock, the Grand Junction Police Department responded to the Woodspring Suites, which is located at 659 Market Street, in response to a call concerning a male who was not responding to their calls. The man was discovered with what seemed to be a knife wound, and he was pronounced dead at the site, as stated by the Georgetown Police Department. After being taken into custody, Shenting Guo was taken to the Mesa County Detention Facility for booking.
Guo reportedly disclosed to the authorities that she and the male had been involved in a romantic connection, as stated in the arrest affidavit. In the midst of her argument with the man about whether or not he was the father of the kid, she was under the impression that she was pregnant. According to the authorities, Guo claimed that she stabbed the man in the leg while they were arguing. According to the affidavit, she stated that she was not attempting to murder him, but she did admit to stabbing him because she was “so angry.”
According to the affidavit, the lady revealed to the authorities that she had also severed the penis of the man. As stated in the affidavit, Guo informed the authorities that the man did not appear to be in any pain. As a result, she went to the City Market in the vicinity and purchased rubbing alcohol, antibiotics, and beer. However, she failed to purchase bandages. As stated in the affidavit, Guo reported to the authorities that at some time throughout the day, the man informed her that he was chilling and that he might pass away.
It was reported that she administered ibuprofen, propel water, and “greens” to the individual, but shortly thereafter, his eyes were dull. The Mesa County Coroner’s Office is the entity that is accountable for disclosing the identify of the deceased, in addition to the cause of death and the manner in which they passed away. The cash bond for Guo is one million dollars, and he is now being held at the Mesa County Detention Facility
