A number of Olympians with with ties to Connecticut were introduced to the Winter Games experience as, among others, Simsbury’s Maxim Naumov (figure skating), Southington’s Austin Florian (skeleton), Suffield’s Emily Fischnaller (luge), Fairfield’s Kristen Santos-Griswold (speed skating) and Mac Forehand (freeski) all have gone through the official Team United States processing in Italy as part of the run up to Friday’s Opening Ceremonies.
