Post Malone and Jelly Roll are bringing their major stadium tour to East Hartford’s Rentschler Field on June 22.
The tour, titled “Big Ass Stadium Tour Part 2,” is a continuation of the artists’ massively successful “Big Ass Stadium Tour” last year.
Jelly Roll, who won three Grammys on Sunday for Best Country Duo/Group Performance, Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song and in the new category of Best Contemporary Country Album, has enjoyed massive crossover appeal as a rapper, pop artist, country singer and Christian music composer.

Post Malone has similarly broad-based appeal, working in the hip-hop, pop, country, R&B, rock and trap genres. His last two appearances in Connecticut were at Xfinity Theatre, now the Meadows Music Theatre, in Hartford.
Carter Faith is also joining the tour on all headlining dates, bringing her “modern-meets-classic country sound and standout songwriting.”.
Rentschler Field was the site of many large rock concerts in the 1970s and ‘80s but hadn’t had many major shows in years until last year when Chris Brown performed there. It is also the home of the University of Connecticut’s football, a theme which plays into many of the tour’s stops. Outside of the date at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field in East Hartford, the tour will hit some of the biggest college football stadiums across the country including:
- Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
- Jack Trice Stadium at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa.
- Protective Stadium at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Birmingham, Alabama.
- Sun Bowl Stadium at UTEP in El Paso, Texas.
- McLane Stadium at Baylor University in Waco, Texas.
- Tiger Stadium at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
- Vaught-Hemingway Stadium at the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi.
- Washington Grizzly Stadium at the University of Montana in Missoula, Montana
- Rice-Eccles Stadium at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah.
