On May 6, 2024, Devyn Chanel Ransom-White, who resided in Virginia Beach, Virginia, passed away. She was 25 years old at the time this occurred. In 2017, she received her diploma from Landstown High School in Virginia Beach, Virginia, where she had been a student of distinction. In the year 2020, Devyn received her diploma from Dental Careers Foundation and went on to work as a Pediatric Dental Assistant. The act of being an organ donor allowed Devyn to satisfy her love for helping people, which resulted in the saving of the lives of four individuals who were in need of assistance.
Devyn is survived by her mother, Chanel Miller and stepfather David Miller, her father, Vincent Ransom and stepmother Angelique Ransom, her grandparents, William and Patricia Howell and Donna Sherrell, her sisters Dominique Rauch (Anthony Rauch) and Jasmine Ransom, her brother, Jalen Turner, her aunt Jeena Miller (William Miller), her uncles Johnnie Ransom Jr. and Michael Ransom, her nieces, Kaelyn and Kennedi Rauch, her nephew Anthony Rauch III, and her fur babies, Meechie, Moochie, and Cocoa.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the Intensive Care Unit at Sentara Leigh Hospital for the extraordinary level of care and compassion that they received from them during Devyn’s final days.
