Derrick Rollerson Sr, Rashaad Simmons Obituary – The identities of the two individuals who lost their lives in a shooting incident in downtown Charleston have been revealed by the Charleston County Coroner’s Office. Coroner Bobbi Jo O’Neal confirmed that Derrick Rollerson Sr., aged 38, and Rashaad Simmons, aged 34, succumbed to gunshot wounds on Tuesday evening.
Upon receiving a report of gunshots, officers from the Charleston Police Department promptly arrived at Johnson Street, situated between America and Hanover streets, just before 10:00 p.m. Tragically, the victims were discovered deceased upon the police’s arrival. As of now, no arrests have been made, and an ongoing investigation is underway.
