Arthur Best Death – The man who lost his life in a tragic incident involving a riding mower has been identified by the Lancaster County Coroner’s Office. The incident occurred on May 8th in East Hempfield Township, specifically in the 1900 block of Oreville Road. Emergency crews were summoned to the scene at 1:13 p.m.
Upon arrival, first responders discovered Arthur Best, a 72-year-old man, trapped beneath the riding mower on a steep incline within the property. Regrettably, Best was pronounced dead at the scene by the coroner investigators.
To determine the exact cause of his death, an autopsy has been scheduled.
