A list by Tasting Table highlighted every state’s best donut shop, including in Connecticut.
What Nutmeg state shop made the list? Neil’s Donuts on 83 N Turnpike Road in Wallingford, Conn., according to Tasting Table.
“Local news outlets in Connecticut discovered the best donuts in Connecticut are at Neil’s Donuts,” according to Tasting Table.
“Neil himself was a former salesman who became fed up with bringing sub-par donuts to business meetings. Consequently, he started to make his own, and the venture soon turned into a veritable donut shop that is now the best in the state.”
Along with donuts, Neil’s offers sandwiches, muffins, and drinks, according to their website.
