Brice Kukuzke,Max Pfiefer Obituary – The two individuals who lost their lives in a tragic accident on I-44 Tuesday afternoon have been identified. According to News Four, the driver was a newlywed and the passenger was a close friend.
A family acquaintance of the passenger spoke with News Four, reminiscing about her dear friend. Upon receiving the devastating news, Kenna Bufford, a family friend of Brice Kukuzke, shared, “My sister called me in a state of panic, crying uncontrollably. She was screaming, and I asked her what was wrong. She said, ‘Brice. He’s gone. He’s dead.’”
Max Pfiefer and Brice Kukuzke, who were best friends, were driving when their 3-wheel roadster veered into the metal barrier. Preston Cox from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol stated, “The investigation is still ongoing and remains very active.” Brice’s family friends are devastated by the loss and described him as a kind individual who was a friend to everyone.
Bufford recalled, “I can still hear his loud, infectious laugh echoing in my mind.” The accident occurred shortly after Max’s wedding. Brice, who also left behind a fiancée, was deeply mourned. Bufford expressed, “I reached out to his fiancée to inquire about the situation. She was in a state of shock. It all felt surreal, and I still can’t come to terms with it.”
She expressed gratitude for the memories shared with Brice, which she will cherish forever. “He had a way of comforting others,” Bufford added. A friend, brother, and son, Brice departed this world prematurely. Bufford concluded, “Life is too fleeting to not cherish your loved ones and express gratitude to God.” The Oklahoma Highway Patrol mentioned that the exact cause of the crash remains unclear, and investigations are ongoing.
