Maribel Zavala Obituary Death News; 44 Years Old Woman, Maribel Zavala Killed By Hit And Run Driver
The 44-year-old victim, identified by Laredo Police, was struck by a car while trying to cross a busy Laredo Street and sadly lost her life. About 4:45 a.m. on Sunday, the event happened at 210 East Saunders. When the car struck Zavala, she was in her wheelchair, and she died after being transferred to a nearby hospital.
Searches for the individual who committed the hit-and-run are underway by the authorities, under the direction of Jose Espinoza. The vehicle that the suspect drove away from the area is being identified by reviewing surveillance footage.
