31 Years Old Shawn Grooms Killed Outside Bar In East Columbus, Suspect Identified And Sought By Police
The name of the suspect that police are looking for in relation to the man’s fatal shooting outside an east Columbus bar has been made public. Law enforcement responded to a shooting incident at the Lotus Lounge bar on Channingway Boulevard at around 1:40 a.m. on September 3.
Emergency medical personnel found the victim, identified as 31-year-old Shawn Grooms, suffering from gunshot wounds, and declared him dead on the spot. An additional person, whose identity remained undisclosed, was shot and taken to the hospital in stable condition. On Thursday, the authorities declared that Kenyatta Glass, 37, has been officially charged with the murder of Grooms and is a suspect in the homicide case.
