John Poppen Obituary – The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office reported that a 21-year-old individual, identified as John Poppen from Royalton, lost his life in an ATV accident on Wednesday. Deputies promptly responded to the scene of the crash, which occurred on the Soo Line Trail, approximately one mile west of Highway 10 in Bellevue Township.
While traveling west, the driver lost control of the ATV and veered off the trail, colliding with a tree. Despite the efforts to save his life, John Poppen was pronounced dead at the scene.
The sheriff’s office expressed their condolences to the family and friends of the deceased, acknowledging the tragic nature of the loss and offering thoughts and prayers during this challenging period.
