Darren Smith, Member Of Sally B’s maintenance Team And Flight engineer, Passed Away
We are devastated to announce that we have lost a loyal member of Sally B’s maintainance team and Flight Engineer Darren Smith. Darren sadly passed away on 25th April 2024, unexpectedly at home.
Darren devoted many hours over the last 15 years to keeping our B17 in the air, where she belongs and he was much loved by us all.
His coworkers and the community he served are both extremely saddened by this loss.
Our thoughts and condolences go out to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
