Jessica Lynn Randall Obituary – A tragic car accident resulted in the death of a woman and a dog, as well as injuries to two adults in Manassas. Police were called to Yates Ford Road near Evans Ford Road in Manassas to look into a collision. The driver of a 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 Pickup truck was heading west on Yates Ford Rd. towards Evans Ford Rd. when a 1993 Buick Roadmaster traveling east on Yates Ford Rd. entered the intersection in front of the truck.
The truck and Roadmaster crashed at the intersection.
Authorities reported that the driver and female passenger of the Roadmaster were taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. A Pug in the Roadmaster was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver has been identified as a 46-year-old man from Manassas.
The driver of the pickup truck was also taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening. The driver has been identified as a 56-year-old man from Manassas. The female passenger from the Roadmaster, who was injured, passed away due to the injuries sustained in the accident. The deceased passenger has been identified as 32-year-old Jessica Lynn Randall from Manassas.
The driver of the Roadmaster is expected to recover, according to officials.
Authorities mentioned that alcohol seems to have played a role for the driver of the Roadmaster. Charges are pending as the investigation progresses.
