Julianne Reid, Damion Stewart Obituary – The two individuals who lost their lives in a tragic collision on Interstate 65 in southern Indiana this week have been identified by coroners. Julianne Reid, a 55-year-old resident of Indianapolis, and Damion Stewart, a 38-year-old from Miami, Florida, were the unfortunate victims of this incident, which occurred shortly before midnight on Monday.
According to the police, it is believed that Reid’s semitrailer was decelerating when the collision took place. Subsequently, Stewart’s truck collided with the back of Reid’s vehicle, resulting in a fire outbreak. Notably, three semis were involved in this unfortunate event.
Additionally, one individual who was present in one of the sleeper cabs sustained severe burn injuries and was airlifted to UofL Hospital, where they currently remain in critical condition. As a result of the crash, lanes along I-65 in Scott County had to be closed for several hours.
