Jack Becker Obituary – The 54-year-old ATV driver who was killed in a collision with another vehicle on Monday in Richfield has been identified by the Department of Public Safety. Jack Becker, a resident of Richfield, was driving a utility terrain vehicle north on Main Street near 1100 South around 4 p.m. on Monday. A Hyundai Elantra was traveling south near the same intersection.
The ATV turned left in front of the Elantra at 1100 South and was struck “broadside” by the Elantra, causing the ATV to roll. Becker, who was not restrained, was ejected from the vehicle during the crash and was later pronounced dead at the hospital. A pregnant passenger in the Elantra was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
