Nakita Davidson Obituary, Death; – The lifeless body of Nakita Davidson, a 40-year-old mother of four, was discovered inside her 2008 burgundy Saturn Outback vehicle in a wooded area around 3:18 p.m. on Friday, as confirmed by authorities.
Sgt. LaQuitta Wade expressed deep sorrow, stating, “It is a very heartfelt and tragic situation. Today is a somber day, and it deeply troubles us as Nakita leaves behind four children who will now be without their mother.”
Following the discovery, 37-year-old Cedric Dwayne Robertson, who was reportedly in a relationship with Davidson, was apprehended by the U.S. Marshals on Friday evening. Robertson was found moving between abandoned houses when he was taken into custody, as reported by the Associated Press.
The search for Davidson commenced after authorities responded to a two-vehicle crash report at approximately 2:11 a.m. on Thursday. Upon arrival, no individuals were present at the scene, but signs of a potential assault or shooting were evident.
Law enforcement suspects that Davidson was involved in the crash, sustained injuries, and was potentially abducted from the scene.
According to court documents cited by the Associated Press, a witness alleged seeing Robertson shoot a woman, place her in the trunk of her own vehicle (presumed to be Davidson’s Outlook), and drive away. Robertson currently faces a first-degree kidnapping charge, with additional charges anticipated, according to the Associated Press
