Lynn Hernan Obituary, Death – As of this coming Friday, April 5, the woman who was found guilty of homicide in the eye drops case that took place in Waukesha County is scheduled to suffer the punishment that has been decided upon for her. Jessy Kurczewski was found guilty of not only stealing almost $300,000 from Lynn Hernan, but she was also found guilty of poisoning her water with a considerable quantity of eye drops, which ultimately proved to be fatal.
Both of these crimes were committed as a result of the same incident. Despite the fact that Kurczewski’s trial counsel took the choice to withdraw from the case, the sentencing of the defendant was scheduled to take place in December of the previous year. Just the charge of homicide is enough to result in a mandatory sentence of life in prison for the individual who is being accused of the crime. Since the year 2018, Hernan has been absent during the month of October.
Nevertheless, the authorities at the time were under the notion that she had committed suicide. They believed that she had killed herself. It wasn’t until many months later, when the results of the toxicology test were returned and a second beneficiary of Hernan’s will started asking questions about the estate’s finances, that the murder was determined to be a homicide. At that time, it was established that the death was the result of a homicide.
The detectives are of the opinion that Kurczewski emptied Hernan’s bank accounts while she was still living and then stole money from her estate shortly after Hernan passed away. This is the belief that they have. When Hernan was still alive, he carried out this action.
