Suzanne Roberts Obituary, Death – On April 2, 2024, Suzanne Roberts died away in a calm and composed manner at her home, surrounded by her family. She is survived by her devoted boyfriend Tom Inkpen and her daughter Sophie Inkpen, as well as her parents Charlie (Dawn McKay) and Stella, her brothers John (Wanda Pepper), Mark (Tara Roberts), Scott (Andrea DeYoung), and Stephanie (Dave O’Connor), and a large number of nieces and nephews.
The 15th of September, 1962 saw Suzanne being born in the city of St. John’s, Newfoundland. Her family, friends, and coworkers looked up to her as a source of motivation and a model since she had such an extraordinary life. Suzanne had a passion for athletics and the elements. In her younger years, she was heavily involved in the sports of soccer, dancing (both tap and jazz), and violin. She enjoyed going kayaking, hiking, and cross-country skiing in her spare time.
Swimming, on the other hand, was her favorite activity. By January of 2024, she had successfully accomplished her first polar dive.
With Tom and Sophie, Suzanne traveled extensively over the globe, including lengthy stays or locums in New Zealand, Winnipeg, Yellowknife, Iqaluit, Vancouver and Sechelt, British Columbia, France, the Netherlands, and Montreal. Suzanne had a passion for adventure and traveled widely when she was a young lady.
Suzanne earned a Master of Science degree in Community Health and Epidemiology from Dalhousie in 2006, as well as an honors degree in Chemistry from Dalhousie in 1984, where she was awarded a gold medal. She also received a Medicine degree from Queens in 1998. Suzanne was an enthusiastic physician who had a profound concern for both her patients and her fellow employees. In the field of medical education, she was quite active.
