One man is dead, and another was injured following a physical altercation involving a weapon on Saturday night in Waterbury.
The Waterbury Police Department responded to the altercation at a home in the 100 block of Grove Street at 7:17 p.m. Police found two men who “sustained wounds that were indicative of being by and edged weapon.”
Both men were transported to area hospitals and one of the men later died from his injuries. The men were not yet identified by police.
Police said the incident involved several people and appears to be isolated. Police added that there are no active threats to the public or residents of the apartment complex.
